Overview

Context

• Post Abby’s B2 German exam

Crust

• naan-like, very light, kinda crispy, little smokey, but not crispy enough
• had a weird, rouge flavor, bartek says this flavor made the crust really unenjoyable

Sauce

• not enough of it to notice the flavor, allowed the cheese to slide off pretty easily

Mozzarella

• the a4 mozzarella was tasty and as white as a sheet of a4 printer paper. Very high quality

Ham

• really, really good even with big chunks, was flavorful and high quality, proper saltiness

Pineapple Salsa

• you get sour and spicy and then sweet, by time you taste the sweet that would complete the Hawaiian flavor its too late
• fresh salsa but we expected more of a sauce
• Pineapple was a little hard

Miscellaneous Toppings

• too much cilantro even the smallest amount over powered the flavor.

Veggie Alternative: Green Olives

• also good saltiness. Good vegetarian topping

Additional Thoughts

• toppings very loose, all of bartek’s slipped off, ham and pineapple chunks same size
• toppings were very loose and large, difficult to get all the flavors in one bite
• high quality ingredients, weak Hawaiian taste
• needed to have salty and sweet in the forefront instead of salty, vinegary, sour, cilantory, and THEN sweet
• priorities were not straight
